Talent Acquisition Specialist
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
Full-time hybrid with London office base
Our team is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our work on game-changing green technology and grow within our world-class team. This new role will suit someone who thrives in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment, where no two days are the same. Besides Talent Acquisition, the ideal candidate would also have a passion to learn/develop their HR skills and knowledge. We are in an exciting period of growth right now and there is plenty of scope for this role to evolve and grow as you grow with us.
Reporting to the Head of HR, you will play a key role in supporting and building our world class technical team. You will ensure our recruitment processes are followed – with a focus on hiring both organically and through active sourcing – guaranteeing a smooth and enjoyable candidate experience.
This is a hybrid role, with office working on a 3-day per week basis.

What you will do:
Develop and own the recruitment lifecycle from end-to-end, with support from the Head of HR. This will include:

Creating new recruiting strategies and internal processes to reflect best practice in collaboration with the Head of HR.

Designing and implementing a robust, yet agile hiring process which will allow us to hire top talent quickly and effectively in a market which is moving at pace.

Deliver a best-in-class candidate centric experience.

Delivery on our hiring plan on-time and within budget.

Partner with our hiring managers to understand our current and future hiring needs. You would be recruiting for roles spanning multiple departments, from technical hardware and software engineers through to operational roles.

As an expert, you will use direct sourcing techniques across our channels to identify and attract top talent within the energy industry.

Screen CVs, conduct interviews and assess potential candidate suitability for the role.

Proactively maintain and foster a network of top diverse talent through relationship building.

Supporting our hiring managers to ensure they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to conduct effective interviews, as well as evaluate candidates on an objective basis.

What you will need:

Previous experience as a Technical Recruiter or Talent Acquisition experience in high-growth start-ups, specifically supporting hardware engineering teams.

Working knowledge of the full recruitment lifecycle, as well as knowledge of best practice in delivering an excellent candidate experience.

Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems – we use Workable

Strong, creative sourcing abilities, with experience of using a variety of different tools and techniques including social media channels e.g. LinkedIn, CV databases, specialist job boards.

Be driven, proactive and solutions-oriented.

Strong delivery focus, taking on end-to-end ownership of projects

Ambition and a drive to learn, particularly if you’re open to gain experience in HR and the wider employee lifecycle.

It would be useful to have:​

CertRR or CertRP qualification, but this is not essential.
